Welcome to the Whitehall Rescue web site. This web site is designed to hopefully promote Whitehall's great work and also get more dogs adopted.

What Whitehall does!

We save dogs from being put to sleep at the local city pound, by keeping the dogs in our kennels until we find a suitable home for the dogs to be housed in. On average we help to home 4 dogs a week, but through this web site we hope to save a lot more dogs from being destroyed.

How is Whitehall funded?

Whitehall is not funded. It's all run by a man called Brian Wheelhouse, who decided a while ago that these dogs need a second chance in life. So using his own time and money he decided to house some of these dogs at his local car garage on Whitehall Road, Leeds. He realised that while running his business he could also help re-home some of the dogs from the city pound (where dogs are only kept for 7 days and then destroyed). Brian makes no money from the adoption of dogs and only asks for a payment of £35. This covers the cost of adopting from the city pound.

How can I help?

We need help in many ways, here are a few of the things that you can do:

-Adopt a dog
You may be vetted to check that you and your home are both suitable for a dog.

-Help fund Whitehall rescue
Whitehall rescue needs all the money it can get for food, kennels and equipment.

-Know someone who is going to buy a dog?
Why not tell them to give us a call first (they could help save a dogs life and some money).

-Give us a link
Create a link from your web site to ours.
